Library Ireland Week 2010: @ Your Library

A highlight of Library Ireland Week 2008 will be the screening of The Hollywood Librarian: A Look at Librarians Through Film.  The European première will be shown at the Health Services Library Group Annual Conference on 21st February.

Ann Seidl, the Director, has agreed to screen the film again in Cork, the School of Library and Information Studies at UCD and at a gala viewing on Saturday, 1st March at the Irish Film Institute in Dublin.

Screening schedule:

• The Briery Gap Cultural Centre, Macroom, Co.Cork on Wednesday, 27th February at 8pm. Further details
• University College Dublin on Friday, 29th February at 3.30pm. This viewing will be for students on SILS, MLIS and GDLIS programmes.
